Léa Vinette trained at the conservatories of Nantes and Lyon before continuing her studies in dance and choreography at ArtEZ University of the Arts in the Netherlands (BA, 2017). She later joined the Dance and Choreographic Practices programme at Charleroi Danse (2019–2021), where she worked with artists including Mark Tompkins, Boris Charmatz, Lia Rodrigues and Nora Chipaumire.

As a performer, she has collaborated with Louise Vanneste / Rising Horses (BE), Tabea Martin (CH), Michèle Murray / PLAY (FR), Marielle Morales (BE) and Michèle-Anne De Mey (BE).

Since 2020, she has been developing her own choreographic work. She created the solo Nox (2022), the duet
Nos FEUX (2024) with Ido Batash, and the trio ÉCLATS (2026) with Daniel Barkan and Vincent Dupuy.

Her research revolves around vitality and contrasting physical states. She is interested in the transitions between tension and release, overflow and restraint, and in how these dynamics shape presence and the relationship to the audience. She explores how these shifts transform presence on stage.

Her encounter with Florence Augendre in 2014 and the practice of fasciapulsology applied to dance form an important axis of her approach, fostering a close attention to the body’s internal circulations and transformations.

Léa Vinette is an associate artist at CNDC Angers (2024–2027). She is supported by the Tremplin programme (2024–2027) and accompanied by Le Grand Studio in Brussels. Since 2025, she has been supported by the Caisse des Dépôts, its main sponsor, as part of its programme for emerging choreographic companies.
